Bill Gates is super nice! A lot of people love him, but do you know that he owns $7,610 an hour?! Here is a full slide about Bill Gates from our Holiday Research Blogging Challenge. Hope You ENJOY the task and my Screencast at the end!
Malo Kiarah, it's Naomi from the Woolf Fisher Research Centre at The University of Auckland. I really enjoyed learning from your Research Challenge featuring Bill Gates. I had no idea he was colour blind but I was aware of the considerable charity work he and his wife are involved in through the Gates' Foundation. I am sure you found it as interesting as I did that Bill Gates has little idea of the cost of everyday grocery items! I wonder if this was an eye opener for him? Do you think he should know these things even though he is one of the richest men in the world? I have requested permission to see your Vlog as I am really keen to hear your perspective on your learning. I really like that you have used a range of ways to represent this research from an organisational chart, to video clips, and a screencast explanation. It gives me a variety of ways to process the information deeply and in an engaging way. You are showing great skill as a designer of learning for others. Nga mihi nui.
