  1. Kia ora Kiarah,

Great job completing both the step up and kick start activities, you have combined the two in a very clever way, well done!

Your cicada life cycle was explained very clearly, I learnt a lot from reading that so thank you! That is so interesting that they stay underground for 2-5 years, wow!

Your timeline is very interesting and it sounds like you are planning to do things that you will enjoy. Thats also very exciting that you want to be a lawyer! Do you enjoy helping other people?

Where would you like to travel to?

    Keep up the excellent work.

    Ngā mihi,
    Lauren

  2. Kia ora Kiarah!

Chris here again. Tēnā koe for completing the cicada maths activity, pai mahi! Did you enjoy it? You’ve gone into some great detail here, really awesome stuff!

Glendowie college is close to where I teach, at Sacred Heart College. Glendowie is a great school, and I can see from the effort you put in here that you’re a dedicated student, so I have complete faith in you having very strong grades! Having a parttime job is good, too. I worked at the Mad Butcher when I was 17. Why do you want to have a parttime job?

Really respectable that you’d like to be a lawyer and/or a judge, what makes you want to do that? Great that you want to travel as well, is there anywhere you think you would like to go?

As always, can’t wait to see what you post next!

    Ngā mihi,
    Chris

  4. Kia ora Kiarah,

My name is Fiona and I am a Manaiakalani facilitator. It is great to see that you are getting involved in the summer learning journey. I like the way you have combined both the kick start and step it up challenge in this blog post - well done!

I think you have done a fabulous job of timeline activity. It’s great to see that you have been thinking about the future and setting goals for yourself. I see that you have mentioned that you would like to become a judge - what a great career aspiration! Why do you like the idea of being a judge?

Keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing more great quality posts from you during the summer learning journey.

    Ngā mihi,
