Introduction

Habitat
 Kina live in the subtidal zone which is never out of water. So that means that they are always in water. They also live in the coral and on it.

Diet
 The Kina eats algae, it eats any algae and it also eats brown seaweed. It may stick to coral and by eating it they make it turn white.

Behaviour/ movement
They will bunch together and rade the seaweed, leaving none for the other animals.It moves with its spikes and pokes them out far when it feels threatened.

Special features (adaptations)
 It has spikes that let it stick to the coral. It also has a mouth at the bottom so it can it more in a little amount of time. It bleaches the coral when eating it.




Conclusion
Kina have big spikes so you may want to watch out for them. They are delicious, but some of them are poison. So watch out!
