fairy bread
Last thursday room 14 did something exciting we made fairy bread. We made fairy bread after morning tea before we could make the fairy bread we had to wash our hands. Finally we went to our tables and Miss handed out the plates, knifes and bread. Meanwhile I was staring at my bread Miss Davis put some butter on a plate for each table, after she did that we all spread the butter on our bread and the exciting bit came we got to put sprinkles on our bread.
After that we got to make our fairy bread into stars and we didn’t cut the crust because that meant that the bread would be a photo frame. I cut out 4 little stars and one medium star. Then we were finished with that part.
Finally we got to eat the fairy bread and it was delicious but after a while I felt sick because there was too much butter on my bread but it was so yum. Miss Davis said “ put it in your lunchbox or the rubbish” but I threw it in the rubbish.

rabbit writing
today we wrote a story independently.`we used rabbits as our theme.
Once in dazy disco land there were two rabbits one was white with black spots and his name was dazy waisy, he had big black bushe hair and he chose disco pants, disco t shirt and funky glasses t wear for the day out. The other rabbit was black with disco patterns and her name was funky dunky she chose a dress but her dress wasn’t any ordinary dress it was a disco dress it had a disco ball on it and at the bottom of it her name was written in capital letters, she chose this dress because she thought it was lovely to go out with dazy waisy.
After getting dressed the two rabbits met up and they met up at the dazy disco cafe and dazy waisy said “ what should we do today” funky dunky responded “ we should go to the human world in treasure town” both of them thought it was a great idea so they went off on there great adventure.
Finally they set off but meanwhile funky dunky went to her house first to get some food and a first aid kit for the food she got some roasted carrots. After having their little stop they climbed mountains, hopped over rocks and go around trees but most importantly they got to the human world. They saw a disco shop that was having an actual disco so the rabbits went in and the people were scared of them so they said “ we have come to your world to have fun” all the people came out and they ran away so the rabbits were sad but they had an idea they would act out a magic show after they set it all up it worked all the people came back and they watched the magic show, the people loved the rabbits after that but even better the rabbits turned into magic rabbits and they lived magically ever after.

tamarereti script
Long long ago there was a lake that a fierce taniwha lived in. The taniwha only came out at night, when the sky had no stars and it was pitch black. Next to the lake there was a small village and there was a boy that lived in the village, his name was Tamarereti. He lived in the village with all his friends and family. Tamarereti and the villagers were terrified of the taniwha. Who ever came out at night the taniwha would eat them.
One morning the sun came out and the taniwha went down into the deep lake. A few minutes later Tamarereti woke up and his stomach was rumbling he checked in his kete for food but there was no food so excitedly he went out fishing. He got in his waka, got his kete and set off fishing. When he got to his fishing spot he saw that the fish were moving around so he got his fishing rod and put it in the water. He was so happy because he caught three large slippery fish.
After catching three fish the wind died down and Tamarereti was exhausted so he had a little sleep. When he woke up he was confused because the waka beached itself. The sky was dark and Tamarereti knew that the taniwha was going to eat him. First he got his fish, got out of his waka and lit a fire to cook his fish. Meanwhile he knew that he had to come up with an idea. When he was cooking his fish he saw some pebbles glistening on the beach so Tamarereti got the pebbles off the beach and put as much pebbles as he could find in his waka.
After putting the pebbles in his waka he set off drifting in the lake throwing the pebbles as hard as he could in the sky. After throwing the pebbles in the sky he found his way back home, the pebbles helped him and the villagers because that meant that the taniwha wouldn’t come out and they would light up the sky and be the stars. After coming home he lay on his bed then out of nowhere Ranginui came out and Tamarereti thought that he was going to get in trouble but instead he s aid “ you have brang light to the sky, thank you.”The taniwha never came out again.
