The Buffet Family & the evil ROBOT! - Narrative

There was never a moment left silent in the Buffet household. Mum was always on her feet, Dad was always at work, Madeline was always trying to perfect her science experiment and Benjamin was always playing some kind of instrument. Buffet seems like a weird surname, but it was passed down from generation to generation. Everyone in this family was wealthy, and they owned it. Their house or mansion was on the hills of Nigeria, they had many more mansions, but this was their main hideout. The family was loving, but deadly. They were strict but calm. They were “villain’s” but they were undercover.

An academy named Larom funded their lifestyle, in return the Buffet family would steal for them. Larom stands for: Love, Achieve, Responsibility, Optimistic and Motivation. Larom is backwards for Moral. The Buffet Family steals from villains and returns it to the rightful owner. They travel from country to country and this is why they have so many hideouts. It was always an evil villain they were fighting, but this time they had a robot villain to fight.

He went by the name Hydro and was half human and half robot. Hydro wasn’t like a cyborg though, he was human on the outside and bolts and screws on the inside. He worked for a boss named Pablo, this man was pure EVIL. Pablo wanted robot’s to replace human society, he wanted the robots to fix humanity’s mistakes.

Hydro’s real name was Oliver and he used to work as an accountant. Oliver was simply sitting at his desk when the lockdown alarm rang. People were running past him panicking, and we'll Oliver was just simply still sitting at his desk. Long story short Oliver sat at his desk for way too long and got shot. His leg got amputated and Oliver wanted to give up, but then Pablo came into the picture. He could see that Oliver was furious with humans and what they had done to him. Pablo offered a “simple” deal, Oliver now known as Hydro, would defeat the Buffet family. In return Pablo would make Hydro invincible.

Madeline was in her science lab when mum announced that there would be a family meeting. She rushed down stairs and saw everyone sitting in the dining room. “What’s wrong?” She asked. “There’s a new villain, or should I say robot.” Their faces quivered with fear. “He’s back?!”

They suited up in their gear and got ready to fight. They flew in their private jet all the way to london. Their villain tracker led them to a dead end. It was silent. DOOFF! They twisted their heads and saw … Pablo? Why him? “You were expecting Hydro weren't you~?” …

A Series of Unfortunate Events - *The Bad Beginning* - Prediction and Chapter 1

Author: Lemony Snicket & Brett Hilquist

Title: A Series of Unfortunate Events - *The Bad Beginning*

Genre: Fiction

This is a book about the 3 Baudelaire children. If you like book’s with happy endings then this isn’t the book for you. The children are very unlucky and whenever they think something couldn’t get worse, it gets worse.

Chapter 1:

It all begins at Briny beach. The Baudelaire children Violet (The oldest), Klaus (The middle child) and Sunny (The baby)  live with their parents in an enormous mansion, in the middle of a filthy city. Sometimes their parents would let them take the unsteady trolley by themselves, down to the beach. They would spend the whole day there until dinner time, of course. The morning was filled with clouds and a dark sky. The Baudelaire children liked these kinds of mornings because no one was around. Violet was skipping rock’s when Sunny (The baby) shouted “GAAAA!”. There was a tall figure among the fog, with a square ish kind of head. They all backed away until they saw that it was one of their parent’s good friends. Mr Poe, he was their financial adviser. He had some very bad news, which makes sense because the Baudelair children had very bad luck. “ Your Parents have died in a terrible fire … “

Prediction for Chapter 2:

Now that their parents have died they might have to live somewhere else. Maybe they go to an orphanage or live on the streets! Nothing good will happen though, not at this point.

Trip around the world - Madagascar

Today we had a meet or a digital noho. We got to take our devices home for one special night and we had a practice lock down google meet. We played kahoot and were given this task to complete. Farting Competition - Greg and Robert

“I definitely have the smelliest and loudest farts! You could never beat me in a competition!” Robert wanted to challenge Greg to a farting competition. Greg wasn’t the type of person to do that, he was the all around american boy. Although it wasn’t like him at all, Greg wasn’t the one to back down. So he said, “Only if you're up for it.”

Sitting in the KFC toilet stalls, Robert and Greg counted down from 3. “3…2…1!” Robert let one slip,PFFTTTTTTT! Greg went next, but it wasn’t as loud as Robert’s. Then Robert let another one slip, and it was as loud as both of their farts combined.

It wasn’t long before the bathroom smelled like rotten coleslaw. Robert was still going, but Greg felt so sick he called out. In other words Greg lost. Robert was so cocky that he kept going, PFFT!PFFTTTT!PFTTTTTTTTTT!He even got someone to bring in a piece of fried chicken for him! His farts came out one after another, but then he seemed to stop. “I think it’s stuck!” Robert sounded constipated. It seemed like Robert’s stomach was reacting badly to the chicken he ate!

“PUSH!” Greg yelled. “I can’t!” Robert responded. There was a moment of silence, and then … PPPPPFFFFFFTTTTTTTTT! It sounded like the biggest fart of the century, but it wasn’t a fart. Diarrhea came out of his bum!The big “fart” exploded out of his pant’s and broke through the stall walls! What were they gonna do now?

“Robert! What have you done?!” Greg was disgusted in Robert. Greg had diarrhea all over him. Not to mention, how were they going to explain this mess to the owner? They quickly hopped up and lucky the bathrooms had showers for the workers. Whilst showering they could hear people walking in and vomiting their lungs out. They thought to themselves, “Great, another mess to clean up!”. They finished having showers and were wearing wet clothes. It wasn’t long before the manager walked in on them cleaning the bathroom? The manager was stunned with happiness, but then he saw the mess and stormed out. Soon they finished cleaning up, but the manager was still angry. So they proposed a deal, if they worked there for 2 weeks for free, the manager would let them off.

In conclusion, don't ever have a farting contest in a public bathroom, especially after you have eaten fried chicken. Because fried chicken will always end in a disaster.

Can he Save her? - Narrative Writing

This is an old writing task that I never got to finishing (2020).  It is a writing task about this picture and switches between spider-mans point of view and the girl he's saving point of view. I hope you enjoy and please leave a positive comment.

“You actually thought that you, a weak little human, could escape from me! You see, I didn’t just kidnap you so you could run away and live happily ever after.” He stopped with a dramatic pause. Then he continued

“I kidnapped you, so I could inject a serum into your blood. After that your boring human life would be gone, you're gonna be the most powerful villain in the world! Your name? Lets see, how about…

SPIDER-MAN!”

“What!? Isn’t there already a SUPERHERO named Spider-man?”

“No, I mean Spider-man!”

As I tried to turn I had a glimpse of something red and blue, right then and there I realised what Green Goblin was talking about. Green Goblin's hideout was filthy, but he was talking about the fact that Spider-man was standing right there. I would have preferred Bat-man, but oh well.

“Give It up Green Goblin! We all know that in the end, I always win.” I mean he wasn’t wrong. He is the one and only legendary Spider-man! I thought to myself.

“Let’s see who really wins this time~” The witch like Goblin cackled, with sureness in his voice. I really thought that at this point they would start to fight, but I was wrong. Instead they walked around in a circle staring at each other, they looked like pigeons fighting for a piece of bread! Boths' faces turned with a smug look on. At the time I wasn't right, but now at this moment I was definitely right.

PISTTT! Spider-man's web stung onto the nasty Goblins face. His face got smaller and smaller until it fit the size of the web. It twisted with his body as he flung through the breezy air. Was I going to survive or was Goblin over here going to win? Who knew. It was a fifty fifty chance at this point, more like a seventy thirty (Spider-man was 70%).

“Arhhhhhhhhhhh!” Green Goblin screamed with the look of terror on his face. I knew that at this point Spider-man was going to win. It wasn’t long before Green Goblin escaped and hopped onto his Glider, but then he looked around like he forgot something. That something was me! He ran over, cut the ropes and dragged me to his Glider. Then it took off with a rusty start, I was panicking like a monkey who lost his banana’s.

I can’t believe that dirtbag took her! I’m nearly out of webs and I have to run after him? I don’t get paid enough for this job, nor do I get paid at all. I jump up to the nearest power pole and fly out the sunroof, I can see her, but Green Goblin’s blocking my pathway with his stupid green goo. I look at my wrist, I’ve got enough webs to attach onto Goblin’s glider and to save her if I need to. My web clings onto Goblin's Glider and I fly into the air.

It isn’t long before we get downtown, I can see the big clock strike 12:00 am. It’s midnight and I am super tired. I can’t even focus anymore! Green Goblin carries the girl on his shoulder and is heading into the big clock. What is he doing?

My eyes are barely staying open from how fast this Goblin is going. I can see the clock in the corner of my eye, and finally understand what he’s going to do. He’s flying back to the top and I can see Spider-man getting ragdolled! Green Goblin’s going to drop me when he gets to the top of the clock. I can’t escape, his grip is too strong. Maybe this will be my last moment and I’m ready for it.

He’s going to drop her, as I said before I might have enough web to save her. I hope I can. I climb up my web, but it’s too late. Goblin drops her.

As I’m falling I remember what Spider-man said: “I always win in the end”. I was sure that he was going to save me, but was I too sure? I just start to realise that I’m nearly at the bottom, I let out a huge “scream!”. I lock eyes with Spider-man, but I think to myself. “Can he save me?”

Short Narrative - Writing about a Picture

I thought it would be fun to right about a picture, and I chose this one. I think that I could be very creative with this. I hope you enjoy and please leave a positive comment :) Here is my Narrative:

There was a moment of silence for the whole neighbourhood as we gazed out our windows. The clouds were cackling and the sky was rumbling. I was surprised the grass was still green at this point, the world has crumbled right before our eye's. What was the thing we were looking at? The only tree left. Have you ever seen that movie: "The Lorax"? If you have then you'll understand that this movie was coming to life. Thunder started to hail down and zap the grass. I don't know about the other people in my neighbourhood, but I was just worried that the tree was going to be gone. All the memories would be lost, all the hope would be lost and all the life would be lost. As I was chewing my nails a struck of lightning chewed off some of the twigs, and then some of the branches.  The clouds started to clear up a bit and the clouds went back to spitting. I was so relieved and I was sure everyone else was. I turned my back to go back to eating dinner, and then ZAP! I twisted my head and ... the tree was gone. Sliced right through the middle like a piece of fruit.

How to be a good Son/Daughter - Explanation Writing

How to be a good son/daughter

Being a good son/daughter can be hard sometimes, but these tips will help you a lot.

Tip 1 on how to be a good son/daughter. Listening to what your parent’s say is a number 1 priority. When you listen it makes them happy and you don’t want to make them more stressed out than they already are. If you're doing something stop what you're doing, and open up your ears. Listen to your parents no matter what.

Tip 2 on how to be a good son/daughter. Being a good student and trying your best in school makes your parents proud. Getting good grades helps you with learning, college and generally with life. When you have a good attitude and learning ethic your parents are less stressed. Be good to your parents by getting good grades.

Tip 3 on how to be a good son/daughter. A way to take a lot of stress off of your parents is to look after your siblings. You can make breakfast for them, help them get ready or even simply make lunch for them. Your parents look after you and your siblings all the time so it would be nice for you to return the favour. Always be nice to your siblings.

There are so many ways to make your parents happy. They love you and spread their kindness all over you so you should do the same for them.

Delicious Division - Division Problems

Division is awesome and can help you in many ways, and you can have many different ways to solve a division problem. I hope you enjoy and learn something new, please leave a positive comment.

Ready for Google Meet's - Lock Down Cyber-Smart Challenge Special

Letter Writing - Prime Minister

Letter Writing:

When Jacinda Ardern came and visited us, she asked our class if we could write letters to her and talk about problems we see in our school/community or New Zealand. Think very carefully about these problems and what you believe we can do to solve them. Once you have finished writing your letter I will send them to the prime minister.

Date:03/03/2021

Dear Prime Minister

1st Paragraph -

Hi Prime Minister my name is Kiarah. At the moment I am learning about decimals, adjectives and nouns. You have done so well at running the country, but I think the best thing your team has done was giving out free lunches!

2nd Paragraph -

People are going insane from the constant lock-downs and staying home. This isn’t a huge problem like others, but I think that the government could do something for the public. Like maybe put on a covid safe carnival or have covid safe sports games.

3rd Paragraph -

I don’t know if any other country has this, but I would love for NZ to have statues of every ethnicity. Another problem is recycling, although we are not too bad at it we need to do better. This is a problem because it ruins our habitat and the animals' habitat. I think that the government could show people how to recycle by themselves (if you haven’t already done that).

Signature
Yours Sincerely,
