Your probably thinking that octopuses are not good at escaping right? Well your wrong, they can fit through any small pipe, shape and gap that you put close to them. Why? You ask, because they have no back bones, so they are just a big blob. In this report your going to find out where octopus live, what they eat, their features and their behaviours.

Habitat
 They live close to the ocean floor and they sometimes swim along the coral. They live in the rock pools and the rocks too. When they live on the ocean floor it is very cold.

Diet
 Octopus eat mostly Crab and they also eat small fish, shrimp, sea slugs, sea snails and shellfish. It can get their prey fast because

Behaviour/ movement
When they see another octopus they turn pink because they are probably in love. When they feel threatened they turn black, to give you a warning. They go camouflage when they don’t like what you are doing.

Special features (adaptations)
They have ink inside of them so that they can get away from their predators. They have 3 hearts so that more blood can flow to their gills. Their 9 brains make them smarter and that is why they can get out of small places.


Conclusion
 So now that you know that octopus are the best escaping animal in the world, you should maybe try and make those holes in the tank just small enough that they can’t get through.
