May Jones #6 - The Aftermath/The Love Story #1
This is a series that I started and now I have just come out with the 6th part/the love story 1. This is a story about May Jones (The protagonist) and Hector Noris's (secondary character) Love Story part 1 and the first part . Read on to find out more! Make sure to check out their backstory. Be sure to stay tuned for the next story. Enjoy :)
May Jones - The Aftermath / The Love Story #1
(Exclaimer: Dress in story is from tv show Blindspot. Not my design.)
There was a long pause. Did I really just say that… May’s eyes were searching the room and her hands were shaking. Hector was lost of words. “Stop trying to get to me. You just want a way into the FBI.” Maybe he was right, but May knew deep down that she really did love him…
“Stop trying to help, just go. Back-up is nearly here, ok.” He looked at her with confusion. His throat clogged up trying to say something else, but he couldn’t. “I’ll be on my way. I’m sorry.” May jogged out the door, trying not to step on anything on the floor. She picked up her burner phone and dialled 911. “Yes, hi there's been a home invasion at 42 Melbourne Avenue! Requesting the Police and an Ambulance.” She threw her phone into a big puddle. May ran onto the pavement and stared into the night sky. She thought to herself, What a long night…
After ringing up her boss, May was now in another safe house across the city. This time a bit closer to the FBI office. Her phone rang. She picked it up, “May, are you comfortable in your new home ?” This was far from home, but May knew it was the best she could get at the moment. “I’m settling in, what is the next mission?” Malaika stuttered with a pause, “W-... Well, you're not going to go on the next mission.” May was shocked. “What do you mean? I’m the best person you’ve got!” May was right, May was the best of the best at her job. “You're going to take out Hector Noris, like we arranged at first. If you don’t, you'll lose your job.” There was another long pause. May couldn’t take him out, her feelings were too strong. She couldn’t tell her boss either, so what could she do? The phone hung up, it was now up to May to find Hector.
May knew she couldn’t kill Hector. Maybe she should just run away, but that would just make things worse…. Got it! May had an idea that was risky, but it had a good chance of working.
Step 1: She would call the FBI, and ask to speak to: Hector Noris. “Special Agent Hector Noris speaking.” May was as nervous as the first day of school. “It’s me May.” What is he going to say? “What do you want?” This was better than she expected. “How about a date?” May was hoping for a yes. “No.” … “If you change your mind, meet me at the parking lot in silver dale. 8:30 pm, don’t be late.” She hung up before they could track the phone. ‘
Step 2: Get dressed up for the date in case Hector changes his mind. May wore a slim fitting velvet black dress. The fabric went down to her toes touching the ground. Black lace flowed from her neck to her back, imprinted with the velvet. Long sleeves covered her arms ending at her wrists. More Black lace started at her lower back and moved to where the dress ended, giving a flowy look. Her hair was side parted and slicked back. May wore black pointy heels, with a shiny finish. A natural make-up look covered her face, and a timid red lip. All finished off with a real diamond encrusted, loose choker.
Step 3: Now that she was dressed and polished up, she was getting ready to walk out the door. She knew that if Hector came he would bring a whole FBI team. So she needed her own team. May picked up her phone a couple dozen times, and called anyone on her team. Once she had gathered enough people she wrote out her note.
Glad to see you showed. If you're up for it, there is one more stop before our final “Date”. Please come alone. I don’t want any of your friends getting hurt. You know how that goes. Meet me at the car park in Glen Taylor. I’ll be waiting until 9:00 pm Sending my love until we meet again.
Step 4: Now it was time to leave. She packed up her purse, putting in her phone, extra lipstick, extra chapstick, plasters (for blisters), deodorant, sanitary items and gum. A text alerted her that her driver was here. Grabbing her bag and steadying herself she walked out the door.
Step 5: As she promised her guards were waiting for her at the spot they agreed to meet. Holding guns they stood still, some facing the middle of the car park and some facing the rest of the car park. She simply waited, waited for her True Love…..

Why is PES an important part of our community? - Practice Test: Writing
TASK DESCRIPTION:
Today in our literacy meet, we had a practice test for writing. We practiced explanation writing and the question/topic was: Why is PES an important part of our community? Enjoy :)
WRITING:
Pt England School plays a big part in the G.I community. It helps families, children and others connect - in many different ways. I will be talking about Learn, Create and Share, becoming comfortable with older individuals and connecting with other families.
Learning is a big part of school. When you learn, you create. When you create you share. Sharing your learning can help your social development and confidence. We learn by having class, and individual discussions. We Create by using what we have learned and putting it on a google doc, slide, drawing etc. We share by presenting in front of the class, This is not only online, but also in person.
PES helps kids become comfortable with older individuals. This can be teenagers, adults and even the elderly. People of all ages pass through our school. Starting up a conversation boosts confidence and helps with manners. When you pass through the foyer, there are at least 2 adults, most of them you know. Eventually you get comfortable with them, which makes it much easier to have confidence around strangers of such age.
Our school also helps families as a whole. Our family plays a big part in our life. When our families make new friends, it is good for our mental health and well-being. PES helps do this by holding events like fia-fia, cross country, school picnics and much more. Making new friends helps us link socially and physically.
From Learning, Creating and Sharing, to helping families and making new friends. Boosting confidence, helping with social development and letting us connect and link ourselves to others. Pt England School is such an important part of our community.

PEEL - Paragraph Practice: finished Slides
PEEL - Finished Explanation Writing: How do people connect using devices?
This is my finished piece of Explanation writing. The topic is: How do people connect using devices? I have used PEEL to improve my writing a bit more. Enjoy :)
How do people connect using devices?
We connect with others in a lot of different ways. The way we connect most, is by using devices. Have you ever connected online?
Devices are everywhere and we use them on a daily basis. Connecting using a device is so popular in the human world.
Why do we use devices? Why don’t we just connect in real life? It is easier to connect using a device. There are many ways to connect, you can email, call, zoom, and even chat on google docs.
People carry around devices all the time, and having a conversation on the phone is very normal. Now that we are in lock-down, people are zooming like there is no tomorrow. In 2021 the number of smartphone users shoots all the way up to 6.378 billion people world wide! Can you imagine how many of those people call and connect using their phones?
If we review these topics we can see that connecting online is part of human nature. Going online to have a chat is completely normal and probably will be for the next trillion years.
It wouldn’t be “earthly” if we stopped using devices for things other than games and work. Connecting online is apart of our lives and makes a huge impact on our conversations and day to day life.
PEEL - Paragraph Plan and Draft
In this PEEL blog-post I am starting to form a explanation story using PEEL. The piece of writing is my draft piece and the picture is a plan of my overall story. My topic/title is: How do people connect using devices. Enjoy :)
